Energy Materials 2023 took place in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province from October 11 to 13, 2023.

The conference was organized jointly by The Chinese Society for Metals (CSM) and The Minerals, Metals, and Materials Society (TMS).

Dr. Zhengdong Liu, academician of The Chinese Academy of Engineering and chief expert of the Iron and Steel Research Institute, Brad Boyce, chairman of the TMS, and Dr. Zhengzhou Li, chairman of Zhejiang Jiuli Hi-tech Metals Co., Ltd. made speeches at the opening ceremony respectively.

On October 11, experts and professors from China, Australia, Germany, Japan, Italy, Sweden and US give excellent presentations at the plenary session.

The conference featured 7 parallel sessions themed Materials for Advanced Ultra-Supercritical Power Systems, Materials for Nuclear Energy, Materials for Gas Turbines, Materials and Production Technologies for Oil, Gas, Materials for Energy Storage and Power Batteries, Structural and Functional Material for Renewable Energy and Materials for Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell. Participants exchanged the development of the energy materials in worldwide, and discussed the hot issues of energy materials under the new situation and shared the latest technical achievements in related fields.

It attracted about 200 industry experts and professionals from 11 countries to participate.

The event is a platform for the sci-tech professionals in the field of energy systems and technologies both at home and worldwide to exchange ideas and experiences.
